When will tickets to West Coast Eagles home games go on sale?

The way to buy tickets has CHANGED in 2015.

All general public tickets to West Coast Eagles home games in 2015 were placed on sale at the start of the season.

This took place on Thursday, March 26 from 9am through Ticketmaster.

Please note that this is a change from previous seasons, when general public tickets went on sale two weeks before each match.

How many tickets are available to the general public for home games at Domain Stadium?

There are 3,000 tickets available for the general public to purchase for each West Coast Eagles home game at Domain Stadium.

These were released for all games at the start of the season on Thursday, March 26.

All tickets to games at Domain Stadium are sold through Ticketmaster

Why has the club changed the date of the general public onsale?

The club has moved the onsale date of the 3000 general public tickets for each match to the start of the season.

These tickets went on Thursday, March 26, and will remain on sale until they are sold out.

There are a number of reasons for this change, including:

  • Games at Domain Stadium have not been selling out in 2013 or 2014 - this is a bid to ensure a packed home stadium
  • Giving fans a longer window to plan ahead for the season and pick the games that best suit them
  • Increasing the benefits and number of tickets available for In The Wings members through improvements to the Seat Resale Program
  • Making it easier for the club, Ticketmaster and the venue management to identify and cancel tickets purchased by scalpers and onsold to third party platforms
  • Ensuring all fans have the best possible opportunity to attend games at Domain Stadium

There are no tickets available for the home game I want to attend. Can I purchase a ticket through a third party (such as eBay, Viagogo or Ticketmaster Resale)?

As there is a high demand for our product, some individuals seek their own financial gain from our passionate supporters by purchasing tickets to our home games and then on-selling them at a premium through eBay, or other third party platforms. This sits very uncomfortably with us and we have an obligation to protect our wait list members and supporters wanting to attend our matches from paying highly inflated prices.

Please be aware that the club investigates all general public ticket sales to home games at Domain Stadium and will cancel tickets if they have been purchased by a known scalper. We ask that you avoid purchasing tickets to our home games via a third party as you risk being denied entry to the game.

Please refer to the club's terms and conditions for further information.

Keep in mind that West Coast Eagles Seat Resale Program tickets willl be continually released back for sale, right up until four hours before bouncedown.

For further information, please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566.

I’m an interstate member, how do I use my membership to attend a game?

Victorian Gold, Victorian Platinum, and Interstate* membership cards provide members with general admission (GA) access for West Coast Eagles qualifying away games played in Melbourne, subject to capacity. Admission is obtained by swiping the membership card at the stadium turnstile.

The location of GA seating varies according to the stadium. For example, level three of Etihad Stadium is usually the general admission area for most matches. Details of where the general admission areas are located will be placed on the club’s website in the month leading up to each match.

For each away match, an area is reserved for West Coast Eagles members wishing to upgrade to a reserved seat. Reserved seats can be booked through Ticketek (MCG) and Ticketmaster (Etihad Stadium).

*Interstate members can scan in to up to two (2) matches in Melbourne as part of their membership entitlements.

How can I purchase tickets to the 2015 Toyota AFL Finals Series?

Should the West Coast Eagles take part in the 2015 Toyota AFL Finals Series, members will have priority to purchase tickets to the finals in which we compete.  Further information will be communicated closer to the time.

The AFL administers all finals matches and will publish information about tickets sales in the daily newspapers and on afl.com.au. As finals held at Domain Stadium are not West Coast Eagles home games, members are unable to retain the reserved seats they hold during the home-and-away season.

Should the West Coast Eagles qualify for a preliminary final in 2015, the following members will have access to register for the grand final ticket ballot:

Priority group 1: Noteholders and Victorian Platinum members

Priority group 2: Other Season members, Victorian Gold, and Interstate members

Priority group 3: In The Wings Plus members

The ballot will only apply should the West Coast Eagles qualify for the 2015 Toyota AFL Grand Final. Please ensure the club has your valid email address to receive all updated information.

If you are interested in purchasing a grand final package, please contact the West Coast Eagles corporate sales team on (08) 9381 1111.
